Happy National Make A Dog’s Day!

Today provides an opportunity to give all dogs the best day of their lives so why not take your pup to one of Arlington's 8 dog parks (http://bit.ly/2dx8ChU) and let them have some fun?

It's also a great reminder to animal lovers everywhere to adopt instead of shop for a new pet.

Hello Arlington County Parks and Recreations Facebook followers! My name is Mira Gross. I am a Fitness and Pilates class instructor for Arlington County 55+ Program. As everyone is I am sure aware of, all the county exercise programs are cancelled until June 10 due to COVID-19 outbreak. During this time it is important that everyone still continues taking good care of their physical (and mental) health, and stay positive! I first created a weekly exercise class schedule via Zoom app for my Arlington County students and my friends to continue taking good care of their physical health and staying strong: we have been now exercising for a week and it has been great!! If YOU would be interested in joining these classes I teach from my home online Fitness Studio, please send me an email at [email protected] and I will be happy to tell you more. Please see the class schedule below for the week of Monday April 6 (I provide more details via email). Classes are suitable for everyone who is interested in taking good care of their physical health. (There may be some changes to this schedule week by week.): Core Conditioning & Strength on Monday April 6 at 9:30 - 10:20am Stretching on Monday April 6 at 10:30 - 11:20am Mat Pilates (beginner & intermediate levels) on Monday April 6 at 12:00 - 12:50pm Power Pilates on Tuesday April 7 at 9:00 - 9:50am Healthy Hips & Shoulders on Tuesday April 7 at 10:00 - 10:50am Fusion Pilates (Combination of Power & Mat Pilates) on Wednesday April 8 at 11:00 - 11:50am Good Balance on Wednesday April 8 at 12:00 - 12:15pm Targeted Workout: Strong Feet, Ankles & Hips on Wednesday April 8 at 12:30 - 1:00pm Targeted Workout: Strong Butt, Hips & Thighs on Thursday April 9 at 8:30 - 9:00am Advance Mat Pilates on Thursday April 3 at 9:30 - 10:20am Mat Pilates (beginner & intermediate levels) on Friday April 10 at 9:00 - 9:50am Targeted workout: Strong Abs & Healthy Back on Friday April 10 at 1:00 - 1:30pm
Are there still b-ball championship games scheduled today? Today in the paper, guy who guarded Gobert in the NBA now has covid. Wouldn’t the responsible thing to do be cancel the games? The guys can claim co-champions.
I'm not sure I've ever experienced a hot theater. Sauna like.😄🤣😓
The zombie event at Bon Air was canceled/rolled into the Arlington mill event, yes?
Arlington is such a dog-friendly county. How do we get poop bag stands and more trash bins installed in our parks?
