Have you enjoyed the lunches prepared by this year's AHS Culinary Class? These amazing lunches that are prepared for us each month, is part of their lesson plans, they learn the menu items the week before then prepare out items on Monday so they are ready for us on Tuesday. Many of these students, use this experience to obtain culinary jobs in our community. I have spied them working at places like Hammond Bread Company and Fields Senior Living. Make sure to tell these students thank you.

Our June Chamber Luncheon menu will be
Muffaletta sandwiches, pesto pasta salad, fruit salad, potato chips, and lemon bars.

The Arlington Show & Shine Car Show for this Saturday is sold out for registering vehicles. Anyone offering spots available for June 13th is fraudulent. All communications will come from the Stilly Valley Chamber. If you have questions feel free to contact us at info@stillyvalleychamber.

This week we are highlighting some of the businesses that help us make Arlington Show & Shine Weekend one that brings out-of-town guests to enjoy classic cars and spend time in our community.

If you are one of our VIP Registrants, you will find a great surprise at registration: a breakfast at the Stilly Diner. The Stilly Diner has become an Arlington tradition, serving up hearty breakfasts, classic American comfort food, and a warm welcome that brings friends, families, and neighbors together. So this weekend when you're stopping in for pancakes before walking through the Car Show or sharing lunch with friends, the Stilly Diner is one of those special places that helps make Arlington feel like home.

After the Senior Parade on Friday, did you stay around to listen to local band, Triple 777.

This was a great ending to a fun day celebrating our youth especially our Seniors. Thanks to everyone who made this Friday end of school celebration happen! Especially for the Arlington Youth Council, which saw a need and created this event, and the music that happened earlier in the day also.

Lets start your Show & Shine weekend off on Friday June 12th with "Illusions Of Elvis" with Danny Vernon, on the Legion Park Stage at 6 PM.

At the same time we are inviting all the kids who would like to be a part of the Kids Mini Car Show to meet us on Centennial Trail. There are some great prizes for Kids from Arlington Grocery Outlet . Dress up or just plain ride your best car, bike, or skooter. The winner will get the Best of Show prize for the mini Car Show, as well as other fun prizes.

Friday Night is part of Arlington Show & Shine on Saturday 8 -3 PM.
