Save the date: Arlington Fireman’s Drawdown is Sat March 28th at Arlington Fire Department. With musical guest, The Wise Guys. Doors open at 5:00 pm, drawing begins at 7:00 pm and live music starts at 8:30 pm. If you do not have a ticket, you are welcome to come in for a small cover charge of $20 per person which covers your drinks and live entertainment all evening. Hope to see you there!

Effective immediately a BURN BAN is in effect for Arlington Fire Protection District until we get a fare amount of rain. This means NO OPEN BURNING OF ANY KIND! With dry breezy conditions, very dry materials, conditions are perfect for rapid spread of fire from flying embers. This includes all recreational fires as well. Thank you to everyone for your corporation!

Arlington Fireman’s Men’s Night is Friday Feb 6th 2026 at Arlington Fire Department in Arlington IL. Doors open at 6:00 pm and goes till 12:00 am. Admission is $20 a person for all the food you can eat and cold drinks you can drink (responsibly). Stop on in for your chance to WIN$$$

***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***

With the amount of rain that we received last night/early this morning, the Arlington Fire Department is TEMPORARILY lifting the Burn Ban that is placed on the entire Arlington Fire Protection District. This will be reassessed over the weekend as there does not seem to be additional rain in the forecast.

While we temporarily lift this ban, please make sure that any and all fires are constantly supervised. If you feel that the fire is out of your control, please do not hesitate to dial 911.

With harvest going strong, it is a good time to remind everyone to check their extinguishers. If you need a new extinguisher, or service to a extinguisher, you are welcome to stop by Arlington Fire Department on Friday October 3rd from 7:00 am to 9:00 am for your fire safety needs with Illinois Valley Fire Safety.
