We know waiting on a package can be frustrating. But if your Amazon delivery is just running late, that’s not a 9-1-1 emergency!

However, if your package was stolen, that’s a different story. Theft is a crime, and you should contact your local law enforcement agency to report it. If the theft is happening right now or the suspect is still on scene, call 9-1-1.

For everything else, let’s keep those 9-1-1 lines open for emergencies.

Over the weekend, we celebrated our newest mural dedication in Stephenville, inspired by the winning artwork of Selene Moreno, a student at Dublin Intermediate and winner of the 2025 First Responders Day Art Contest.

This mural is part of our ongoing Mural Project, which transforms students' artwork into lasting tributes to the first responders who serve our communities every day. We're honored to continue bringing these inspiring works of art to communities throughout our service area.

A special thank you to our partner, Motorola Solutions, for helping bring this initiative to life, and to artist Christopher Sandoval (.draws) for once again transforming a student's vision into a beautiful mural that will inspire the community for years to come.

When Kimberly Hall from the Wilmer Police Department answered a 9-1-1 call involving what was later determined to be a heart attack, she quickly assessed the situation, dispatched medical assistance, and stayed on the line to provide reassurance and support until first responders arrived.

While emergency responders were on their way, Kim's calm, compassionate presence helped bring comfort during a moment filled with uncertainty and fear.

If someone is confused, unconscious, or showing signs of heat stroke, call 9-1-1 immediately. Stay calm, stay clear, and be ready to share your location.
