On Friday, June 22nd, at 6:30 p.m., the Arlington Masonic Lodge #438, will honor Dr. Everett Moody, Optometrist, with the Community Builder Award. This is the highest honor that can be awarded by a Masonic Lodge on a non-Mason. Dr. Moody has donated many hours over the past 30 years at the Lions Club’s AISD Vision Clinics. The Greater Arlington Lions Club and Pantego Lions Club have helped over 2,500 students receive eye exams and glasses at our monthly AISD Vision Clinic over the past 30 years. This would not have been possible without Dr. Moody selflessly donating his services. Both School nurses and Lions have worked with Dr. Moody by donating time and money so children in our area can receive free eye exams and are provided vouchers to get glasses. The meeting is open to the public and there will be a reception immediately following the presentation. Please help us honor Dr. Moody with your presence. And please feel free to invite guests. The Lodge is located at 1415 West Abram, Arlington, TX.
