Many, many years ago when Bellis started talking about his Eagle 🦅 Project he wanted to do bat houses 😳 We had a long hard road with lots of change of projects, change of plans, rejection, correction, then Covid happened. We knew his project was out of our hands and we had to trust that God would make a way. And HE did! Today, all 8 of Bellis’s Bat 🦇 Houses are being installed to their permanent location! With hard work, perseverance and stubbornness and faith...Dreams Do Happen! Thank you to all the boys, dads, the many ASM’s, Mr.Kraus and SM Mr. Longoria for your support and encouragement and swift kicks.
Troop 127 Scouts and Scout Families, The Bartin, McLaughlin, Motsenbocker and Pierce families hope you can join us to celebrate the accomplishment of Patrick, Charlie, Trey and Jacob at their Eagle Scout Roll by Recognition this Saturday, June 13 at 10:30 am at Rush Creek Christian Church. Please drive westbound on Green Oaks to the enter the Rush Creek Christian Church parking lot. Red, white and blue balloons will mark the entrance. If you would like to bring a card or note, there will be a mailbox for each of the Eagle Scouts where you can drop it off as you roll by.
To ensure the safety and wellness of all attendees, please stay in your vehicle and roll down your windows to say hello and congratulate these fine young men on their success!
My friends - I need some help. My neighborhood has some amazing trails that require maintenance. These trails would be perfect for many of your hiking requirements - and they are less than 10 minutes from St. Joseph's. Does anyone have a relationship with those at the city?
Please let everyone know about this especially any WeBeLoS you know. It's a link to Jaboree on the Air a World Scouting Event.

When we get back together in August, we should make an effort to update our troop photo,
This Base Camp Arapaho here. Wow its Friday. The boys have done Amazing at Camp. Its hard to believe that tomorrow we go home.
We have so many completed Merit Badges, Accomplished Rank Requirement, Toten Chip, Firem'n Chit, Paul Bunyan, Scoutmaster Conferences, and BOR's (Board of Review). Poor Mr. Blaylock will be crying because his fingers hurt.
All the Merit Badge Classes are done, Free Time is done, all the watermelon is gone, the Trading Post is Closed. All that is left is Closing Campfire, the last camp PLC, and shower time before the Scouts sleep under the stars.
As always it is a pleasure that you allow me to take your priceless treasures to camp, helping them to grow in mind, body, and Spirit. They each have special gifts and they all grow in the short time we were at our Home away from Home. The boys have changed so much and do each time they come out to camp. They become strong leaders and stronger within. You will be amazed how you Scout has changed. I still want them to be a boy a little bit longer but we have laid the foundation for them to become a First Class Scout and so much more.
Looking to to see if PLC is ready, then my shower, and one last check of the boys under the stars before I call it a night.
This is Base Camp Arapaho signing off...May the Great Master of All Scout Be With You!! Good Night Scouts!!

We have 3 adult scout shirts (1 LG, 2 Med), and one pair of uniform, zip off pants (34)...free to a good home. They are from Dan's time on staff at Jamboree in 2010 (I think), so some of the patches will need to be removed/replaced. Anyone interested, message me, pls.
