Can anyone tell me more about Billy Smith who came to our Sam Houston Rifles Banquet in '69 or '70. I was told that his jeep ran over a 500 Pound bomb in Vietnam some time before seeing him. He was then in a wheelchair but when he first came back to UTA he tried walking with crutches. His superb physical condition helped him survive the IED but that he latter succumbed to his injuries'.
Happy to find this. Didn't really know about it.
