Meals on Wheels was something I did in college and was the first thing I thought of when Grammy needed something. Due to the contact with MoW Grammy’s life was saved. She didn’t answer and MoW person knew this was off. She lived many more years after that 💖
Write your congressperson to continue to fund meals on wheels. For some people it is the only contact they may have all week or months. If the can't afford in home help, it might be only meal an elderly person may have. Do not let Congress get away with cutting back this program among others that are needed during a pandemic.

In my humble opinion, Mount Vernon (10550) Department of Elderly Services may be the worst department in the history of this city. Their attempt @ "Meals on Wheels", puts shame on the national program. They disgust me.
