For Gloria and Terry, love has meant showing up for one another through every challenge life has thrown their way. After meeting in a support group nearly two decades ago, the couple built a life together, rooted in understanding and compassion.

Living on a fixed income and suffering from health issues, preparing meals became increasingly difficult. They needed support, and Meals on Wheels answered the call. Thanks to their local provider and their kind volunteer, Ray, they receive regular home-delivered meals, lifting the burden of preparing food off both their shoulders.

For a long time, Lois spent her days alone, with volunteers as her only visitors. Then Grace, a stray kitten, found her. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, community partnerships and local support, AgeWell Services of West Michigan has eliminated waitlists for Meals on Wheels! 🎉 That means hundreds of older adults can get the meals and support they need without delay. A huge win for seniors and everyone who helped make it possible.

AgeWell Services has eliminated waitlists for both its Meals on Wheels and Senior Medical Transportation programs, giving seniors 60 and older in Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa counties faster access to critical services.
