I would like to enroll in meals on Wheels. I live by myself in an apartment and am 82 years old. While I have always been very self sufficient I am slowing down quite a bit and need help preparing meals for myself.
I would like to help out with Meals on Wheels please let me know how I can help!
Very good and friendly people working to make life a little easier for seniors ❤️
Just want to thank you all for developing the partnership with Jiffy L**e. We have an excellent relationship with our local store and are continuing to partner with them on a higher level now. Thanks, Norm.

While I fully believe in my heart that Meals on Wheels is a fabulous organization with dedicated and committed volunteers here in Fort Smith, AR. I think we could all agree that this meal delivered today for the parents of a friend of mine is NOT what I thought was an adequate meal for any person relying on the group for nutrition. There is no way this meal has anywhere near the calories required to sustain health, particularly for even sedentary folks. I posted this not to embarrass anyone but I hope this is understood as constructive criticism and addressed as such. Whomever is tasked with the overview of our Meals on Wheels here in Fort Smith will follow up on this. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
I volunteered a number of times. However no one has contacted me. I'm disappointed but I still think MOW is a great program.
"Tie My Shoes" was written with a pointer stick, one letter at a time, I did my best. Born with a twisted body from cerebral palsy I earned a Masters Degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan with honors, married and I am a father and grandfather.
But in grade school, I remember a medical doctor and educators told my mother and me that, "The ninth grade will be Lonnie's last year of school."
Then at forty-two, I suffered a fractured neck from a fall off my crutches, I still succeeded and much, much more. Read about it in my book, "Tie My Shoes." Your book support would be appreciated, thank you.

Someone I know who lives in Arkansas told me she must sign a document deeding her house to the state of Arkansas to extract payment for Meals on Wheels after her death. That sounds insane. Is it true?
