2026 marks the centennial of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association! For 100 years, NEMA’s member organizations have driven innovations that form the backbone of today’s electrified world.

NEMA has also been a longstanding partner in advancing electrical safety. In 1994, recognizing the need to strengthen consumer and worker awareness of electrical safety and technologies, NEMA together with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission established the Electrical Safety Foundation International. For more than 30 years, NEMA has remained a committed partner as ESFI has grown in reach and impact, helping promote a safer, more resilient electrical world. Please join ESFI in congratulating NEMA on 100 years of leadership in one of America’s most crucial industries.
