I'm asking for your continued support to fight the battles behind the red line. No matter what happens on August 1st I will continue to fight for what's right for this community and the Fire/Rescue/EMS services. Thank you so much for the people who have contacted me that continue the fight and for the support for this position.

3 years ago today our lives changed forever. I was the Operation Officer with Darrington Fire and with the Stillaguamish Water Rescue Team.
It is still so raw standing out there tonight stopping at every memorial tree. Words can't describe the pain and loss that was witnessed. I have seen the hope, love, and support by many also unfortunately the pure ugliness in a few.
Thoughts and prayers to all the lost, family's, friends, and love ones. I will never forget you and what we all went through and all the dedication put in to recover all who was lost.

Posting this to pass on.

Time to speak up and speak out.

To All my Facebook family and friends.

I don't ask a lot from people and right now I'm going to ask a lot from you all. Please take the time to read like and pass on and participate.

Many of you know I've spent the last 25 years serving this community, citizens, neighbors in Snohomish County and Washington state.
For many of those years I was wearing 3 hats working with Sno Co. Fire District 21, Arlington City Fire, and Snohomish County Search and Rescue.
I Started answering the call for help in 1991 joining Oso Fire and Sno Co. Search and Rescue.

The public needs to know Not everybody in the Fire/Rescue/EMS service are heroes.
The more knowledge and time you have in you learn and see all bs politics, corruption, ego's and ignorance in this line of work, believe it or not.
The sad part is the public is not aware of what's really going on and they should know.
I have fought this battle behind the lines with these types of people for years for the best interest of the community and the taxpayers.
(Hence the title of my book I'm working on "The smoke behind the red line")

Choices that have been made and that are currently being made by the administration and commissioners have put the community at risk and cost tax payers thousands of dollars.

Commissioners and Fire Chiefs in these positions are not thinking about the best interest of the community and the people that they are they serve.

The out right ignorance and decisions being made by the Snohomish County Fire District 21 fire commissioners and the assistant Fire Chief will be brought out for the Community, neighbors and taxpayers to know what's truly been happening in the past and present. This is not only at a local level but county level.
In the past I have put in for chief positions at this station throughout the years. The last selection between two of us I was not selected as the full-time fire chief.
The full-time fire chief position opened up again and I submitted my resume again. Out of all these years this time they're not even selecting me to participate. This is unacceptable and is not in the best interest of this community.
I first started at Sno Co. fire district 21 in 1993 and I'm also the founder of the Stillaguamish water rescue team through the fire service.
I'm an instructor, and one of the leading experts in water rescue, Boat and hovercraft rescue and operations.
I am one of the top trained experienced rescuers in this county with ten thousands of hours volunteered. My combined years of service is 40 years. And still more to learn and give.
The biggest slap to the face is the service that I've done not only for the community but for fire district 21. They have the unprofessional nerve to notify me by email, not in person, not by voice but an email that I have not been selected to participate. This is outrageous.

I promise you right now, I will be a part of the Fire/Rescue/EMS and Swiftwater rescue services whether some like it or not.

I'm asking you all now to have my six.
I have been covering yours for the last 25 years. If all fails I am more than willing and prepared to do this task alone. But, I am asking you to stand with me. Have my six, for me, yourself, your community and your neighbor.
I will present nothing but facts with integrity and honesty.

There will be more to come.
I will be contacting the media and using social media to its full of advantage.

Please share this post to get the word out that there deep concern in the fire service and there needs to be immediate change.

Thank you
Randy Dobbins
