Our prayers are with the people of Nepal as they face massive flooding, overwhelming rivers and power plants in the past hours with hundreds missing and many feared dead.
Our ministry partner there says that "the whole nation is crying."
He also shares the following prayer requests. Please join us in praying.
Prayer Points for the Rasuwa Flood Disaster
1. For Swift Rescue Operations: Pray for the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police as they navigate blocked roads and severe weather to reach isolated border villages.
2. For the Protection of the Missing: Pray for the immediate location and safety of the dozens of missing security officers, tourists, and the 25+ workers trapped inside the Langtang Hydropower project tunnel.
3. For Grieving and Displaced Families: Pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones, and for immediate shelter, food, and medical aid for the hundreds who have lost their homes.
4. For Downstream Communities: Pray for the safety of people living along the Trishuli River in Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan as they evacuate to higher ground.
5. For Emergency Responders and Medical Teams: Pray for endurance, strength, and resources for the Nepal Red Cross Society, medical workers, and volunteers distributing essential aid.
6. For Favorable Weather and Stability: Pray for the rain to cease and for the blocked river channels to clear safely to prevent further secondary flash floods or mudslides.
