🚨 Texas voters: Do not wait until Election Day to check your registration.

The Texas State Conference of NAACP Units is urging every Branch to tell our communities to check their voter registration status now.

Recent reporting shows more than 1.2 million Texas voters are on the state’s voter “suspense” list. Being on the suspense list does not automatically cancel your right to vote, but it can mean extra steps if your address needs to be confirmed.

The Arlington Branch of the NAACP is proud to help promote **Faith, Freedom, and Democracy: Christian Nationalism’s Influence in Tarrant County and Across Texas**, hosted in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County and local community partners.

Join faith leaders, election experts, and free-speech advocates for a timely panel discussion on church and state, religious influence in government, and the rise of religious nationalism.

Panelists include Dr. Perry Crenshaw of the Arlington Branch of the NAACP, Chris and Mendi Tackett of See It. Name It. Fight It., and Laney Hawes of the Texas Freedom to Read Project. The discussion will be moderated by Estrus Tucker of DEI Consultants.
