🚒 Engine 303 crew in Action 🚨
Today, Engine 303 responded to an automatic fire alarm off Copper Mine Road, providing mutual aid in Fairfax County.

Not only did we ensure the scene was safe, but we also busted up all the ice and put ice melt down to protect the occupants. Safety first, no matter the conditions or location! ❄️💪

An impactful winter storm is looking increasingly likely across our area for late Sunday and into Monday. All precipitation types are possible across our region. Accumulating snows appear possible over northern portions of the area, with more significant impacts expected over far northern areas. For central and southern portions of our area, snow at the outset looks likely to transition to a wintry mix of sleet, and freezing rain and eventually rain Sunday night into early Monday morning. Please continue to monitor the forecast here and at weather.gov/akq/winter over the next couple of days. Details of timing, duration, and location of impactful winter weather and associated accumulations will continue to be fine tuned.

🎉 This holiday season, our Social Impact team partnered with Loudoun Hunger Relief to make a difference in our community!

Together with our airport community, we collected non-perishable food items at over 20 locations across Washington Dulles International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the Dulles Toll Road admin building, and Corporate Headquarters.

Our initial goal was 1,500 pounds of food, but thanks to everyone's generosity, we collected 4 pallets of food—totaling over 1,750 pounds! 🥳

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to supporting those in need. Together, we are stronger. 💙
