Time goes by so quickly. Just three years ago today Syd moved to another address to be with his reloved brothers in God's world. I never stop missing him - he was the center of my life. God speed Sweetheart - we will be together again when He is ready. Love you forever.

This time last year, we were celebrating and remembering my beloved husband Syd. We miss you sweetheart and I think about you every day that goes by and you are never far from my heart. It has been a tough year adjusting to living without you. Remember what I told you during those last moments - I will love you forever.

Arlington National Cemetery, our nation’s most hallowed ground, is the final resting place for more than 400,000 active duty service members, veterans and their families. This historic cemetery bears witness to our American heritage and the military service and sacrifice of men and women in uniform throughout our nation’s history. Families come from all over the country to bury their loved ones at Arlington National Cemetery. They come to Arlington because of the rich history of military honors that makes the service so special.

We believe that caring for our nation's heroes and their families during their time of need is a sacred duty entrusted to us. Our nation's veterans are laid to rest with dignity and honor at Arlington National Cemetery by a compassionate and dedicated work force.

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA on Monday, November 21, 2016. If attending the service you will need to be there no later than 2:20 PM.

Syd Constantinos was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927, and formerly of Gainesville, Virginia, passed into eternal rest on Sunday September 11, 2016 in Lancaster, PA. He was the loving husband of Martha. He was proud to be a World War II veteran having served in the U. S. Army. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science, had graduate classes at Harvard University and spent 37 years with the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. retiring in 1989 as the Assistant Agricultural Attache, Embassy of the United States of America. He was always full of laughter and encouragement to those that knew him and always there to help out.

For those interested in being included in his celebration of life, interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia at a future date.
