Syd Constantinos was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927, and formerly of Gainesville, Virginia, passed into eternal rest on Sunday September 11, 2016 in Lancaster, PA. He was the loving husband of Martha. He was proud to be a World War II veteran having served in the U. S. Army. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science, had graduate classes at Harvard University and spent 37 years with the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. retiring in 1989 as the Assistant Agricultural Attache, Embassy of the United States of America. He was always full of laughter and encouragement to those that knew him and always there to help out.
For those interested in being included in his celebration of life, interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia at a future date.
