~Who are we, and what do we offer?
Appleseed Joint Ambulance District, known as “Appleseed EMS,” is a low-volume, paid part-time and volunteer 911 EMS agency that provides emergency services to the residents of the Villages of Arlington and Jenera, Madison Township, Van Buren Township, and a portion of Eagle Township, located in Hancock County, Ohio.
Formed in 1982, our agency has grown significantly over the years to better serve our residents, including adding paid part-time staff each day, from 7AM-7PM. Our agency recognizes the importance of volunteers in the community to respond to emergency calls between 7PM-7AM, and have increased volunteer on-call pay to better compensate our members for their dedication to our community. Appleseed EMS is also a proud member of The Ohio EMS Chiefs Association!(OEMSCA)
