Congratulations to the Armada High School EMT class! All students completed the course and took the National Registry Practical Exam and passed 💯! They are ready for the final exam to become an EMT!

Thank you to Scott Schiilag and Stanley Black and Decker for awarding the Armada High School Building and Trades program with a $15,000 “Grow the Trades”grant towards a classroom makeover. Way to go Mr. Defever for doing the work to make this possible.

Congratulations to the following seniors on becoming Quickbooks Certified. After weeks of learning the number one accounting software in the world, they tested their skills and leave Armada with an essential industry credential. Great work Tigers!

Last week, our HOPE Squad and Student Wellness Club came together to bring WOPE Week to the high school!

WOPE Week was all about promoting physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, it was the perfect time to host such an important spirit week.

Each day had a theme, and students shared morning announcements focused on physical and mental health awareness. Staff and students who participated in the daily themes were entered into gift card drawings, and we are excited to share that participation reached at least 175 students each day!

On Thursday, students asked classmates, “What is your hope for the future?” Their responses are featured in the video.

We wrapped up the week with complimentary root beer floats for staff and students on Friendship Friday.

A huge thank you to our local business supporters: Revive Hydration, Big Red Orchard, Tigers Den Cafe, and Blake’s.

Some of Armada's top business students ditched the classroom for some real lessons in entrepreneurship yesterday. Mr. Moore and his classes visited 4 local businesses for a Q and A with the owners, including: 5 Iron Golf in Shelby Township, Daiek Woodworking in Romeo, Little Caesars in Romeo and finished up with a sweet treat at The Creamery in Armada. At each location, our students were able to get a first hand lesson in entrepreneurship, learning about operations, finances, customer relations, sales, budgeting and more. Shoutout to John, Brent, John Daiek, Jeff, Emily and Kris for opening their doors and providing an incredible business experience.
