Well… for most of you, unless you came at the tail end when we were selling out, your belly’s full, but I truly hope that everyones’ hearts, souls, and spirits are over flowing from such an overwhelming outpouring of love and support! Team work really did make the dream work with one phenomenal team of family and friends in our community!

On behalf of Desi, Jamie, and the girls, words only scratch the surface of how moved they are by all of everyone’s love and support! Even as the doors were closing and we were out of food, people continued to come just to provide love and both emotional and financial support! Thank you to everyone who sent something despite not being able to come; those who came; those who came early and stayed to the end; those who baked, cooked spaghetti, bid on the auction, cleaned tables, washed dishes, took out the trash, did set up/clean up, arranged donations, spread the word to others, sold tickets, made salads, bought supplies, and the list goes on! We have full hearts and souls thanks to all of the love and support from our community of family and friends!

What a day!!! Due to an exceptional turnout, we only have 4 lbs of pasta left. We will serve until we run out, but its going quick!!!

What an amazing community of family and friends:

I’m not going to be able to name everyone business and person who has helped us get to a great start today, but I would like to thank Kelly and Brian Fry for paying for and arranging for us to use the East Wheatfield Armagh Volunteer Fire Department, the East Wheatfield Volunteer Fire Department for having such a great place to host the dinner, all of the bakers who made desserts, all of the folks who have already made donations, everyone who has been running around cutting cucumbers in advance, New Florence VFW for doing a ticket which goes off the Thursday and Friday before Thanksgiving, Kathy Mack for being our auctioneer for today’s dessert auction, everyone who will show up to volunteer today, Delgrosso’s for their Spaghetti Benefit Dinner Program, Galliker’s for donating iced tea, Squirrel Hill Hunting Club for paying for the spaghetti and salad, Bigginz for butter at a reduced cost, LaMantias for produce and salad dressing at a reduced price, and everyone else that I failed to name for their continued love and support!

It’s already a great day and will only be so much better as we have the Spaghetti Dinner!

I hope you all can come out, enjoy some spaghetti, salad, and dessert, donate to a great cause, and bid on some delicious desserts!

It takes a team to make the dream and we are blessed with one great team of businesses, people, and community!
