This evening, members participated in a hose advancement training and nozzle control training, collaborating with our junior firefighters. The training involved advancing hose lines from the south side of our station to the farthest bay on the north side, while spraying water outside the station. We are extremely proud of all our volunteers for their commitment to ongoing education and skill development. Thank you to all of our volunteers

Glasgow Fire District conducted a mutual aid tanker shuttle training exercise. Armstrong Fire contributed two 2500-gallon tankers 802 and 806. Howard County stations 1,2 and 4 brought tankers along with Glasgow's tanker and personal. Tanker trucks filled on 1st street and drove to Glasgow pool where two drop tanks sat connected to Glasgow's engine 5, where water then was pumped into the pool. With all stations working together we where able to transport 49000 gallons of water in a one hour period. Huge thanks to Glasgow fire district for the amazing training. All stations involved are Fayette Fire/ Howard County Station 1 Howard County Station 2 Fire Glasgow Fire District howard county station 4 Armstrong Fire Protection District .
