The AVFD held one of our general meetings and we would like to recognize a few of our fire fighters for their years of service. Todd Guilbeau-25 years, Brodie Gresko-15 years, Wade Ray-10 years, Grant Guilbeau-5 years, Bobbi Jo Miller-1 year, Brice Bourque-1 year, and last but not least Karson Olivier-1 year and also Mason Olivier was named our Fire Fighter of the year! Thanks again to all of our Fire Fighters for their time and dedication!!!

On Saturday the Arnaudville vol. fire dept. was dispatched out to a single vehicle accident on hwy 31 just outside of the city limits. Upon arrival firefighters found an occupant trapped inside of a tanker truck carrying fuel. Fire fighters worked hard to successfully get the occupant out safely. We Would like to give a big thanks to the responding departments that assisted us this call. Arnaudville vol fire dept. ,Leonville vol fire dept., Prairie vol fire dep. ,Henderson vol fire dept. ,Louisiana state police. ,Acadian ambulance, and Arnaudville police dept.
