*JOB OPENING*

The Ellis County Assessor is now taking applications for a full-time Field Appraiser position. The job requires both office and field work. Applicants need some computer experience, should be able to handle working primarily out in the field and will need to have good etiquette while working with the public/taxpayers.

There are seven (7) accreditation courses with an exam after each course required to be completed within the first two (2) years of employment. Each course is three to five days long, requiring overnight stays at the classroom locations in Norman or Tulsa. Expenses paid by the county. Interested parties should bring their application/resume to the Ellis County Assessors office in the Courthouse in Arnett, OK by May 15,2026.
