Voting is one of the most powerful ways individuals can practice democracy. The Truxal Library exhibit, The Midterm Elections-Vote, reminds us that voting rights were achieved through decades of advocacy, protest, and perseverance, not simply granted without struggle. By reflecting the ongoing civic engagement, the exhibit encourages visitors to the importance of their vote and recognizes its impact on the issues, policies, and leaders shape our daily lives.
