Arnolds Park Police Department The City of Arnolds Park and Police Department is know as the City of five lakes. We are a five person department with four reserve police officers.

Looking for assistance in identifying the individual in the surveillance picture. Any help would be appreciated, it's in reference to an incident that occurred over the weekend! If you can help in any way contact the Dickinson County Communication Center at 712-336-2525, and they will get you in touch with an Arnolds Park Police Officer.

The lake lies to you.

That cool water and the breeze off our Okoboji lakes make it feel like you're beating the heat. You're not. The sun is still cooking you, the water pulls moisture out of you, and a couple of drinks speeds the whole thing up. By the time you feel "off," you're already behind.

It's going to push 90° and be humid here all week, right into the 4th. So before you head to the dock, the ballfield, or the boat:

💧 Drink water BEFORE you're thirsty; thirst means you're already low

🧢 Shade and a hat aren't just for the kids

🍺 Every drink with alcohol needs a glass of water chaser

🚗 Never leave a kid or pet in the car, not even "just a minute"

👵 Check on the older neighbor who doesn't run their AC

Have a great lake week. Just don't let it land you in our ER. We'd rather see you at the grocery store. 🌞
