Good morning friends! What an exciting week this is for me at the coffee house. I’ve been asked by 6 wonderful locals to do some catering gigs for this week and weekend. We’ve so far had a taco bar and afternoon snacks. I have three sheet cakes with a beautiful theme to decorate. I’ve got a fun baby shower on the patio. Some apps for some travelers. And a cake and punch date to end it all Sunday. Taking on the catering events will help keep Bingham’s going thru the winter. And I truly enjoy doing them. Even Chef Daniel got in on one event yesterday and grilled off my chicken and veggies for me. That being said, this weeks hours at the house will be a bit different.
We will be open this week Aug 27-30
Thursday - Sunday 8-12 Noon
Grab and Go menu ONLY
The hot box will have quiche and breakfast sandwiches.
The cooler will have chicken salad, pimento cheese, ham salad, deli sandwiches, soup, salads, and of course some noodle salad (we love our Audrey)
I’ll bake some chocolate chip cookies and have some deserts available as well. You won’t go hungry!
I have limited staff this week/end as two of my girls went back to college. I also have doctor appointments for the parents this week. So life is busy! I am currently seeking one more “as needed” person, however, a sweet girl I’ve known for many years called yesterday looking for something. Possibly have that need covered. Fingers crossed. 🤞 Owning a business isn’t easy, the spa taught me that. But I’ve also learned you just gotta roll with it. Anything worth having, isn’t easy.
We will conquer this week! And the next, and the next.
