Friends,

This Tuesday February 26th at 6:00pm at the Arroyo Grande city council meeting, Jim Bergman will share his staff report he published. The recommendation of Jim Bergman, The AG City Manager, is to not agree with the MOA and for the City of AG to transition back to an independent Fire Department. This is not only a danger to the firefighters but for the community. This would make for less staff and longer response times and at a higher cost. If you read further into the report it does say that the agencies are better together, but that it is not his recommendation.

I'm asking for all to please come out and support us. The message is we need to make Fire protection a priority in the City of Arroyo Grande. Please wear red if possible.

If your not able to come out I ask that you please send an email to all of the city council members there email is provided below.

Thank you

Next year our goal is to donate $1500 so we can send two burn victims to Champ Camp.
