From Congresswoman Torres

As a former 9-1-1 dispatcher, this fight is personal to me. Dispatchers are the calm voice in our darkest moments, yet too many are overworked, understaffed, and denied the recognition they deserve.

That’s why I’m fighting to pass the bipartisan to finally reclassify 9-1-1 dispatchers for the lifesaving work they do.

I encourage everyone to listen to this podcast and call the Speakers office urging the House to bring the 911 SAVES Act to the floor for a vote!

America’s 911 dispatchers are straining under pressure, leaving thousands of callers waiting during emergencies.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we remember the four crew members of Trans Aero.

These individuals dedicated their lives to helping others on what were often some of the worst days imaginable. They answered the call without hesitation, serving their communities with courage, compassion, and selflessness.

In honor of their memory, REDA made baskets with love and support for those grieving this unimaginable loss. While no gesture can ever ease the pain of losing loved ones, coworkers, and friends, we hope these baskets serve as a small reminder that an entire community is standing beside them during this difficult time.

Please keep the families, friends, coworkers, and all of Trans Aero in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Their service, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

It’s National Police Week and today the Hope Police Department stopped by REDA to pick up their appreciation basket!

We figured snacks and goodies were the least we could do for the people out there answering calls, chasing chaos, surviving on caffeine, and somehow still keeping the rest of us safe!

Thank you for your service, your dedication, and for putting up with all the things dispatch says over the radio.

Stay safe out there and know your REDA family appreciates you! 💙💛

National Police Week = snack basket delivery time!

REDA put together a little appreciation basket for Loving Police Department because caffeine, snacks, and support are essential first responder equipment.

Thank you for serving your community day in and day out. We appreciate everything you do and are proud to work alongside you! Stay safe out there, friends! 💙💛
