The Artesia Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying suspects involved in a violent armed robbery and aggravated burglary that occurred in the early morning hours of May 19, 2026.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Bullock Court following reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim had sustained significant injuries and had already been transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Incident Summary
According to the investigation:
Three unidentified male suspects, all wearing ski masks, forced entry into the residence. The suspects were armed with handguns, some equipped with lights and at least one with a green laser.
The suspects demanded property and threatened serious harm before fleeing the scene. Investigators determined the suspects forcibly entered the home using a pry tool. The interior of the home showed evidence of a violent struggle, and multiple items were left behind by the suspects which are being processed for forensic evidence.
Suspect Descriptions
The suspects are described as:
Three Hispanic males with light skin tone. Suspects were described as younger males, possibly juveniles. Slim builds. Heights ranging approximately from 5’5” to 5’9”.
All wore full ski masks, one described as a fleece-style (“fuzzy”) mask. One suspect had a distinct “N” tattoo on his cheek, visible beneath his mask. The suspects reportedly fled the area on foot.

Investigators are still working to determine motive and identify all individuals involved.
The Artesia Police Department urges anyone who:
Saw suspicious individuals or activity in the area of Bullock Court or Dallas Street between 2:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on May 19. Has surveillance or doorbell camera footage. Has knowledge about individuals matching the suspect descriptions. Recognizes or has information about a person with a distinct “N” facial tattoo to come forward.
