We mourn the loss of one of our own — Scott Zieske.

For more than 35 years, Scott dedicated himself to serving his community through the fire department.

While Scott answered countless calls over the years, some of the moments he loved most came in the simple joys of being part of the department family — spearheading our gun raffle fundraiser, proudly driving the fire truck in parades, especially if he had a grandkid beside him tossing out candy, or volunteering to bring the truck to community events just so kids and families could climb aboard and share in something he loved so deeply.

Beyond the department, he was so much more — a son, a brother, a father, and a Grandpa who loved his family. His presence, his stories, his laughter, and his willingness to always show up for others will leave a hole in all of our hearts.

The fire hall will not feel the same without him. And neither will our community.

We will miss you so much, Scott. Thank you for your years of service, your friendship, and the legacy you leave behind.

Rest easy ❤️
