New prices go in effect 8-1-26

The Transfer Station will be able to accept credit cards as payment starting 8-1-26. There will be a flat $3.00 fee charged for all credit card transactions, checks made out to Town of Arundel will also be accepted.

*Where to re-register your ATVs*

ALL Maine town offices are currently experiencing a delay in receiving registration stickers for ATVs. Therefore, we can only process NEW registrations at this time.

To re-register your existing ATVs, go to the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife website below, or call 207-287-8000.

If you renew online, print the confirmation or keep it on your phone and with you while riding. Official registrations and stickers will be mailed to you once the stickers are available. 

This online service allows you to register your ATV and Snowmobile with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Following your payment, you will receive a temporary registration form to print for immediate use. Your official registration and stickers will arrive at the shipping addres...

COOLING CENTER OPEN
ARUNDEL MUNICIPAL BUILDING
Wednesday, July 1st and Thursday, July 2nd

Due to the forecasted high temperatures, the Meeting Room at the
Arundel Municipal Building will be open as a cooling center on
Wednesday, July 1st and Thursday, July 2nd during our regular
business hours of 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Residents who need relief from the heat are encouraged to stop by
and enjoy a cool, air-conditioned space during the hottest part of the day. Bring a good book, crossword puzzles, or knitting project, and your own snacks.

Please remember to:

• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water
• Limit strenuous outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours
• Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone who may be more vulnerable to heat-related illness
• Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle

Please help spread the word to anyone who may benefit from this service.
