AMVETS ONE Tour Across America
Leaving no Veteran behind. Engaging all Veteran Service Organizations and our Community by raising awareness and highlighting the local resources to reduce stigma and prevent Veteran su***des.

*PRESS CONFERENCE MAY 24th @ 10:30 AM*

WHO: A dedicated team of volunteers from AMVETS Department of California will be heading again across this great nation to spread the message of means to deal with Su***de Prevention and Mental Health Awareness – “Leaving No Veteran Behind”.
Speakers headed by:
● National District VI Commander Ross Smith
● AMVETS Su***de Awareness and Prevention Committee Chair Lisa Roybal

Guest Speaker:

Paul Mahoney - Instructor Lead and Operations Director of Military Science JROTC
Cadet Colonel Anika Voskuil - Denver JROTC Regimental Commander

WHAT: Most of us know someone who has been impacted by the thoughts or act of su***de. The National Statistics says nearly 22 or more Veterans commit su***de on a daily basis. This tour’s advocacy is to raise awareness and provide resources available throughout the country, so that no Veteran needs to feel alone or not be able to talk this out with someone.
