Congratulations to our amazing Dining Room staff member Macy on graduating from Pomona High School class of 2026!! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication that it took in reaching this milestone - not only in school but here at work as well. A big thank you to Arvada Fire Fire Inspector, Nicholas Scopel and the Arvada Fire Dept. Crew for an informative fire safety presentation this morning, followed by a practice fire drill. It was a great opportunity to share life-saving information, answer questions and help ensure that everyone is prepared and feels protected in our community. It was an honor to host U.S. Navy Veteran Pete Snyder as he shared his personal experiences while serving during the Vietnam war. Pete was Captain on Patrol Craft Fast (PCF) Swift Boats, protecting the rivers and waterways of South Vietnam. Through firsthand stories, reflections and memories from his time in the service, our Kipling Meadows Senior Living Residents gained a meaningful perspective on the courage, sacrifice and realities faced by those who served during the Vietnam War. A very special thanks to keynote speaker and U.S. Veteran Pete Snyder and also U.S. Navy Veteran Lew Roman, board president of the Broomfield Veterans Museum.
