Colorado Federation of Republican Women

Colorado Federation of Republican Women CFRW provides an avenue of political involvement for women who share the Republican philosophy. Republican women's clubs have existed for at least 100 years.

We possess a mixture of older & younger members who together, provide a winning combination of experience. Taking their inspiration from the Republican Platform of 1872, which said: "The Republican Party is mindful of its obligation to the loyal women of America for their noble devotion to the cause of Freedom", Republican women's clubs were off and running. The oldest club on record was founded i

n Salt Lake City in 1899. The Federation of Republican Women has both a National and State Structure. State Federations which are chartered under the auspices of NFRW run under their own set of bylaws. Those bylaws, although independent, may not be in conflict with bylaws set by NFRW. The Colorado Federation of Republican Women is divided into seven districts.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk, a young husband, father of two, and champion of conservative values has shaken the core of America. This senseless act reveals the deep depravity that hate can drive someone to commit.

Charlie welcomed debate and invited challenges to his thinking. He defended conservative principles through common sense, not violence. That's what real strength looks like. He was not an enemy to the radical left but an American citizen exercising his First Amendment rights in a nation founded on the principles of liberty and free speech. A person who thinks differently from you is not a threat to be eliminated.

Charlie's assassination is not just an attack on him, but on all who believe in free speech, limited government, and individual liberty.

We cannot allow this tragedy to intimidate us into silence. We are praying for Charlie's family during this unimaginable loss.

This Sunday, Christians will put on their finest attire in reverence to the most profound event in Christianity- Resurrection Day.

While the holiday has been embraced by commercialism like Easter egg hunts, chocolate bunnies, and symbols of spring and new beginnings, its significance is much deeper for more than 2 billion believers globally. Though Christian traditions vary widely, and some may observe differently than others, all Christians recognize the Resurrection as the cornerstone of their faith.

Resurrection Day represents far more than a traditional holiday. Without the resurrection, there would be no blessed hope. The empty tomb validates the Christian faith. It’s a powerful testimony declaring that death has been conquered.

This deep faith is beautifully expressed in many churches on Easter Sunday when congregations join in singing the timeless hymn "Because He Lives." This beautiful song captures the hope that sustains believers through life's uncertainties: "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives." For Christians everywhere, the empty grave serves as enduring evidence of a risen Savior and the ultimate promise that makes life not just bearable, but truly worth living.

The National Federation of Republican Women is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend, former Congresswoman Mia Love of Utah. From the moment she burst on the national scene at the 2012 Republican National Convention, Congresswoman Love was an inspiration to Republican women across the nation – truly a shining star in every sense of the word. Congresswoman Love graciously supported the Federation and partnered with us on many projects, including serving as the primary spokesperson in the NFRW’s 2015 outreach video (https://www.youtube.com/embed/r0lfWH2bex8). Republican women across the nation join me in extending our deepest sympathies and prayers to Congresswoman Love’s husband and children, and to all of her loved ones.
