As of today we have not had enough vendor interest in this year's Community Day so the decision was made tonight at our monthly meeting to cancel this years event. We hate doing this but we can't go into it knowing that it will cost us money instead of raising money. We will revisit this event next year! However, we will still be having the Corn Hole Tournament and we will still be serving lunch. If you love Corn Hole, come on out and have fun competing or just watching. More information to come on when to register and cost.

So it's that time of year again when we start to invite local crafters and vendors to come out to our Annual Community Days event. This year it will be held on October 21st. If you or someone you know has some crafty talents or you are a local representative for a company like 31, Tastefully Simple, Scentsy, Mary Kay, etc...we would love to have you! If you are interested you can message us on Facebook or email Jennifer at [email protected]. This is a fundraiser to help the fire department with the funds they need to continue to serve our community. Come on out and sell your products while helping the fire department out at the same time. Spaces are available inside and outside. Fees are $20 (outside with nothing provided) or $30 inside with a table and 2 chairs.

Don't forget! Arvonia Community Days is TODAY starting at 9. We have a Monster Truck Bouncy House, Pumpkin painting, Tie Dye Shirts, BBQ, Live Music and local crafters and vendors! Come have fun with us.

It's that time again. We are now accepting applications for the Arvonia Community Day's event being held on October 15th. If you are interested in being part of this year's event, please email us at [email protected] or you can PM us here to get an application sent to you. The price will remain the same and there will be indoor and outdoor spaces available. Inside spaces are $30 with a table and 2 chairs. The outside spaces are $20 but do not include the table. Last year was a lot of fun with live music and things for the kids to do. Come out and enjoy the day with us!

We would like to thank everyone who came out last night for Mystery Bingo. We had a great time! We would also like to thank all of businesses who donated items: Jax's Mini Mart, Jefferies Oil, The Food Mart in Dillwyn, A Special Touch Florist, Advance Auto Parts, Gilliam Motors, CVCHC, Sal's Italian Restaurant, Chelsie Pankey, Amy Pritchett, Bobbie Taylor @ Trents Mill Logging, and Pat Price. Without some donations, it would be difficult to do these.
