WE ALL SCREAM for ICE CREAM!

So much fun today at the Ice Cream Social we put on for our seniors at one of the congregate sites we serve meals at, the Asbury Park Senior Center! Everyone enjoyed a custom sundae and learned about Interfaith Neighbors programs the community can utilize!

It's our interns last day today & they went out with a bang! 🥲

After months of working on their own "passion project," a clothing drive for our Early Childhood Learning Center, they delivered the overwhelming (in a good way) amount of clothing to our ECLC Director, Ashley. She was so grateful for all the donations facilitated by our interns that will go to our families!

Then we headed over to Neptune Senior Center to help serve meals at one of our Congregate Meal Sites!

Thanks Liz and Michael for all your help, you've made an amazing impact on our organization and we know you'll take us with you on your journey into Senior year and beyond!

Special thanks to Congressman Frank Pallone for visiting one of our Community Food Connection sites, Bayshore Village, to distribute produce and talk to residents yesterday! We distribute fresh produce every Wednesday morning, from June through November, in their clubroom.

The event was co-sponsored by Hunger Free America, Interfaith Neighbors, Congressman Pallone’s office, Communities Investment Strategies and Communities First Initiative. We celebrated Abby Eimer, our collaboration’s very first VISTA AmeriCorps member, and the beautiful produce from Fernbrook Farm. Thanks everyone for making it a great day to distribute local produce to our neighbors!
