Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1pm, the City of Asbury Park will launch a free shuttle service. The shuttle will run on a fixed route around the city, picking up passengers from designated bus stops along Cookman Avenue, Ocean Avenue, Deal Lake Drive, Main Street, and Springwood Avenue. A map of the route and all bus stops can be found at www.cityofasburypark.com/shuttle.
No fares or tips will be accepted, as this service is entirely free. The service is also handicap accessible and able to accommodate all riders.
Operating Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm, the Asbury Park Free Shuttle will connect residents and visitors to business districts throughout the city, allowing residents to leave their cars at home and visitors to park once and experience all Asbury Park has to offer.
The shuttle is funded by the State of New Jersey.
