Snow emergency is declared beginning Sunday, March 15 at 7 am and continuing to Tuesday, March 17 at noon due to Blizzard Warning declared by the National Weather Service.

During snow emergencies, residents are allowed to park on the odd side of the street on odd number calendar days and park on the even side of the street on even numbered calendar days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no street parking during snow emergencies in the Wedgewood, Clover Lane, Hidden Meadows, Tuscany and Legacy neighborhoods. To help crews with snow removal, residents are encouraged to remove all vehicles from the street.

Here are answers to several questions we get from time to time:

1. Q: Do we offer a fingerprinting service?
A: We do not.

2. Q: Do we offer a vehicle inspection service?
A: Yes we do and it is by appointment only. Please contact Officer Josh Lamey at (563) 585-1874 or [email protected]
to schedule a vehicle inspection.

3. Q: Do we respond to Facebook Messenger?
A: We do not. Our page exists as a social media space to share information with citizens. If you would like to contact us, you may do so by calling the police department directly at (563) 585-1874 or the non-emergency dispatch number at (563) 589-4415.

The City of Asbury is declaring a Snow Emergency effective Saturday December at 6 p.m. until Monday, December 8, 2025 at noon. The weather forecast is calling for 3 to 5 inches of snow with the possibility of over 5 inches along the Highway 20 corridor.

During snow emergencies, residents are allowed to park on the odd side of the street on odd number calendar days and park on the even side of the street on even numbered calendar days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no street parking during snow emergencies in the Wedgewood, Clover Lane, Hidden Meadows, Tuscany and Legacy neighborhoods. To help crews with snow removal, residents are encouraged to remove all vehicles from the street.

If your vehicle is found parked on the wrong side of the street during a snow emergency, it will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
