Weathersfield School PTO

We are parents, guardians and teachers working together to support and enrich all students. Supporting teachers is an important part of what parent groups do.

We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding. When teachers have the backing of their school’s parent group, it helps them do their best work and makes the school an all-around better place. PTO MEMBERS

WHY YOU SHOULD GET INVOLVED! As you can see, we are a small and busy group. This is where you can come in! We need your help, and so do your child(ren). A special thanks to all of our volunteers from last year for all their hard work and dedication. Here at Weathersfield, we strive for excellence and what better way than to become involved today. We are in need of growth and are seeking volunteers to continue re-establishing the organization. We have planned some exciting events this year in hopes to get more parents involved in their children’s education. The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. Volunteer a little, or a lot! PTO PROGRAMS & FUNDRAISING
Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and/or support.

Happy Friday & Happy Final Day of Staff Appreciation Week! 🎉

What an incredible week it has been celebrating the amazing staff at Weathersfield School. We hope they have felt just how valued and appreciated they truly are every single day.

Today, we wrapped things up with a sweet treat! Our Lemonade Cart rolling through to bring a refreshing drink, delicious cookies, and a little something extra right to them!

And stay tuned… we’ll be sharing even more photos and highlights from this amazing week throughout the weekend!

🌿 Day 4 of Staff Appreciation Week! 🥗

Today we treated our amazing staff to a fresh and delicious build your own Salad Bar Lunch! 🥒🍅🥕

The staff lounge was filled with crisp veggies, tasty toppings, and lots of smiles as everyone created their perfect salad. It was a great chance to take a break, enjoy a healthy meal, and feel the appreciation!

Staff members who stopped in also received raffle tickets for a chance to win one of 5 great raffle prizes thanks to generous donors!

We’re so grateful for all that our staff does each and every day! ❤️🖤

📚✨ Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week ✨📚

Today we’re all about slowing down and getting cozy! Our amazing staff were treated to a Blind Date with a Book, each one wrapped and ready for a surprise read 📖💛

They were invited to grab a homemade bookmark made with love by our students, pick out a cozy pair of socks 🧦, grab some tea ☕, for a well-deserved moment to relax.

And of course… the fun continues with today’s scavenger hunt 🔍🎉

We hope our staff are feeling the appreciation and enjoying a little time to unwind, you deserve it more than ever!

🌸 Staff Appreciation Week – Day 2! 🌸

Day 2 was all about spreading a little extra joy and creativity! Our amazing staff had the chance to stop by and build their own beautiful bouquets at the DIY flower bar, adding a bright and cheerful touch to their day. 💐

We also had some fun with today’s “Find Your Match” game! Staff searched to find their matching item, share some laughs, and snap photos along the way. 📸

We hope everyone is enjoying the week so far (and that yesterday’s Market of Appreciation was a hit! 🛍️). We’re so grateful for everything our staff does each and every day. This week is just a small way to say THANK YOU! ❤️🐾🖤

🌾🍎 Staff Appreciation Week has officially kicked off! 🍎🌾

We are so excited to spend this week celebrating the incredible staff at Weathersfield School!

Today, our staff were welcomed to the Weathersfield Farmers Market of Appreciation 🛍️where they had the opportunity to “shop” a variety of fresh, local goodies.

A HUGE thank you to our generous donors who made today possible we truly couldn’t have done it without you. Our staff were absolutely in awe of all the thoughtful contributions! ❤️

📚 Help Us Celebrate Our Amazing Staff! 🍎

Students should have received a blank bookmark this week to decorate for our teachers and staff in honor of Staff Appreciation Week!

If you did not receive a bookmark or would like an extra, additional bookmarks are available in the school office.

Use your bookmark to create something colorful, thoughtful, and unique. Your handmade bookmark will be a small but meaningful way to say thank you to the incredible people who help our school shine every day.

✏️ What to Do:
• Decorate your bookmark with drawings, colors, and kind messages
• Let your creativity shine!
• Please do not personalize your bookmark for a specific teacher so they can be shared with all staff

📅 Deadline:
Please return your completed bookmark by Friday, May 1st

📍 Where to Turn It In:
Place your decorated bookmark in the collection box in the school office.

The start of something exciting! 🎉

The old swing set has been removed as the school gets ready for the installation of our brand new one!

Thanks to your incredible support, the PTO was able to purchase a new 3-bay swing set, adding an extra swing plus an ADA-accessible swing so even more of our students and community can enjoy them! ❤️

We can’t wait to see it installed and in action!
