Hoisington Field Master Plan Presentation!

Join us this Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the 1879 Schoolhouse at Hoisington Field in Perkinsville, where the Weathersfield Parks & Recreation Commission will be sharing the Hoisington Field Master Plan Presentation at a town Public Meeting. The presentation will be followed by a public discussion.

We hope to see you all tomorrow at Hoisington for the Weathersfield Recreation Festival ! Quarry Cruiser 5K fun run/walk starts at 8 a.m., and the festival begins at 9. Both the 5k and festival are free!

We are pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Recreation Festival. It is happening Saturday, August 2nd from 9am-2pm. We are looking for venders and crafters who might be interested in renting a booth spot at the event and businesses that may be interested in sponsoring it as we are trying to raise funds for our Hoisington Field Project. Reach out to the Town of Weathersfield, Vermont Town Office for an application either way! We hope to see you there!

It's that time of year again! If you are a Weathersfield resident & would like to be put on our town wide yard sale map, please sign up via this google form. This year we are partnering with our local nonprofit Thrive, who has offered to allow the use of their parking lot for yard sale tabling with a donation to their mission. You don't need to be a Weathersfield resident to participate in this. You do need to stop by Thrive to sign up & reserve your booth spot, though, because space is limited. Additionally, Ascutney Fire Department is not only participating in the town wide yard sale, but they will be having their yard sale all weekend long, including Friday, and Epic Deli will be there serving up some of the best food you can get locally.

This year we are partnering with our local nonprofit Thrive Thrift Store & Community Resource Center because we have received a few requests to have a space where people could table in one of our villages.

Thrive is located in Ascutney where the Red Barn Cafe used to be, in the heart of Ascutney, and they are offering to host at their space with a donation to their mission. Their offer is also extended to neighboring communities within their service area. Stop by Thrive to sign up & reserve your booth spot because space is limited.
