The following are the Sharp County community service hours. There were 104 accumulative hours worked from 5/17/2026-5/23/2026, completing several projects in the Sharp County Community. Time was spent in Williford Library, Poughkeepsie Park, Sharp Cemetery, Biggers Beck Cemetery and VFW Evening Shade Aux under the supervision of Coordinator Brian Watson.

The program was designed to allow inmates to pay off fines and serve the communities of Sharp County.

Richard Barefoot, 35, of Long Beach MS, was arrested for Domestic Battering-3rd Degree.

Thomas Corter, 41, of Cave City, was arrested for Bond Revocation.
Chad Croney, 39, of Williford, Hold for Other County/State.

Jody Dement, 39, of Jonesboro, was arrested for Failure to Appear on No Proof of Liability Insurance.

Jeremy Graham, 33, of Williford, was arrested for Abuse of Adults/Serious Injury or Substantial Risk of Death, Domestic Battering-2nd Degree and Habitual Offender.
Skyler Guyton, 24, of Ash Flat, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor on Criminal Mischief and Obstructing Governmental Operations.

Robert Hale, 31, of Paragould, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Felony on Domestic Battering-2nd Degree.

The Sharp County Sheriff Foundation is proud to congratulate Jerry Hendrich, Riley Trivitt, and Kiera Bagwell as the first recipients of the Sharp County Sheriff Foundation Scholarship.

This is the first year the foundation has been able to offer scholarships to the students and families of Sharp County Sheriff’s Office employees. We are thankful for the support of our donors and community that made this possible. With continued support, we look forward to providing these scholarships for many years to come.

Time was spent in Tri County Recycling, City of Ash Flat, Cherokee Village Police Department, Sharo County Courthouse, Cherokee Village Animal Control, Sharp County Sheriff’s Office and Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church under the supervision of Coordinator Brian Watson.

The program was designed to allow inmates to pay off fines and serve the communities of Sharp County.

Sharp County E-911 is accepting applications for a part time position and looking for someone meeting the following criteria:

**Looking for someone who is available to primarily work night shifts.**

18+ years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver’s License

Pass a background check

Pass a drug screening

Available to work any shift (including night shifts and holidays)

Must be able to multitask

Must be able to type efficiently

This part time position is PRN. Job roles include answering emergency and nonemergency calls, dispatching appropriate personnel, maintaining records, clerical duties. Call volumes vary, but periods of high call volume are expected.

The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Part-Time Courtroom Security Officer position. This is a non-certified, contract labor position.

Applications may be picked up at the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office during normal business hours.
