Don’t just go to bed. We’ve got three storms strengthening! They’re all headed east. Have your phone volume turned up. Make sure you can hear tornado sirens. Inboden, Mountain View, Ash Flat, take cover.

We understand it rained a little and there is more to come over the next couple days! Please understand that the rain DOES NOT cancel the burn ban. Tickets will still be issued for illegal burning!!! We need several inches of rain to bring us out of extreme fire danger.

The Arkansas Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) has activated the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in anticipation of a significant winter storm forecast to impact much of Arkansas.
This elevated activation level allows state agencies and partners to coordinate closely, rapidly respond to resource requests from counties, and support life-safety, transportation, and power restoration needs as conditions deteriorate.
