[Updated 5/4/23 at 2pm: our library web services have been restored and should be functioning normally again. However, if you do experience problems, you can attempt the steps described below!]

A known issue at our data center is affecting library e-resources. Technical staff are working towards resolution. We strongly recommend connecting to the GW VPN first before accessing library webpages and databases, including Himmelfarb Library's nursing and medical resources.

Users of the Gelman (main library) website may use the link posted below to access many resources during the website service outage.

Direct links to library services and resources for use when the library website if offline.

04/27/2023

GW is migrating to a new VPN client, GlobalProtect VPN (the current client, Cisco AnyConnect, will end service on Aug. 9, 2023).

GW students and employees may download the new client to their personal and GW work devices starting now. If you use library resources from off-campus, a VPN connection is occasionally necessary to access certain (though not all) databases.

Click the link below for instructions on installing the GlobalProtect VPN. It will use the University's single sign-on, 2-factor authentication process to log in (the same as our current VPN).
