Mindframe Education will be running day camps on Monday, January 31st and Tuesday, February 1st! 🧪 ✨

Camps will be running from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Morning and afternoon snack breaks will be included, as well as an hour lunch break!

Monday, January 31st Theme:

“Journey Into Space”

Children will be learning all about the wonders of galaxies, solar systems and black holes! We will be discussing and learning all about space with a variety of activities, and spurning the curiousity that is our cosmos!

Tuesday, February 1st Theme:

“LEGO Engineering”

Children will be met with different challenges and tasks and must use their creative thinking skills to come up with a design and solution! They will be working in one of two teams to promote healthy communication skills in addition to collaborative skills too!

Our Wondering what sustainable, high-producing agriculture might look like? This science project explores how analyzing bird's-eye-view pictures of a field can make farmers aware of variations in their fields.

Farmers can use this information to optimize their farming practices, or even feed this information to high-tech agricultural equipment so the machines can automatically adjust their actions (like fertilizing or watering) to the needs of a piece of land. Establish a procedure so a computer can infer the fraction of ground covered by grass using the color histograms of a bird's-eye picture of the area. Go STEM!

The Needle. Almost every culture on the planet has designed some sort of clothing. It didn’t take long for our ancient ancestors to figure out clothing is needed to protect our sad, hairless hides from the elements. The needle allowed us to create clothing that conformed to each individual, for every type of weather. The needle hasn’t changed much over the last 20,000 years or so. The first needles appear around 28,000 BC. Early needles are crafted from bone. Then copper, bronze, iron…well you get it. But the basic design has stayed the same. Go STEM!
