The Ashby Cultural Council is seeking new members to join our dedicated committee.

Under the auspices of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Ashby Cultural Council is the official local agency for Ashby. The ACC’s purpose is to help fund arts, humanities, and interpretive science programs or events within our local community that appeal to all demographics.

The appointment would be for a minimum three-year term, with the option to extend for a second term.

We meet once annually, typically in November/December, to review and award grants to applicants as MCC funds allow.

Please contact our ACC Chair, Mary-Kate Bourn, [email protected], if you are interested in joining our team.

ACC-sponsored event! Be there or miss out! 😉🌸

Winchendon Winds is back again in 2026 for more music-making…mark your calendars for every Sunday in June! We’ll be performing June 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 2:00 p.m. at our usual venue, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon, 126 Central Street.

Conductor Dr. Lindsay Bronnenkant returns for her third season, and has compiled a terrific series of themed concerts. We’ll start off with a “bang” on June 7, with a special concert celebrating America’s 250th. We’ll play patriotic favorites and include a special appearance by a Revolutionary War-era ensemble complete in period uniforms. The following three concerts promise to be just as exciting.

As always, concerts are free (donations most welcome). We’ll offer our usual tasty refreshments and basket raffle opportunities.

Tell all your friends and spend your June Sundays with us!
