Update on this years Summer Reading Program.
It will be July 13th and 14th from 10 to 12.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will NOT have it on the 27th as originally planned.

The Ashdown Community Library will be honoring all Veterans today. Come on out and have some cookies and coffee and put your name in the pot for a door prize.

The library is temporarily closed. I have tested positive for Covid-19. All due books can be put in the drop box. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Christine from the Census Bureau will be set up outside the library today until 4:30 to help those that have not filled out their response that was mailed to them. It is very important that all get counted. Please, If you have not completed your 2020 Census please come by today. Please SHARE!

The library will open back up in the morning, May 18th. You will be screened before being able to enter. I will have to take your temperature.
You will be asked a few questions and you will HAVE to bring and wear your own mask. If you do not have a mask, you will not be able to enter. Only 5 people at a time will be allowed. If you get there and there are already 5 inside you will have to wait. There will be no computer use to the public. You will only be able to check out books or movies. These directives are for your protection as well as mine. I look forward to seeing everyone and getting back into a normal routine. Teresa

Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, the Ashdown Library will be closed until further notice.

Tuesday was our last day of our summer reading program. Drew from Grandview Prairie came and let the kids make Animal Track soap. The kids had a great time doing this. Thanks to Mark Ardwin for reading to us and a big thank you to Big Jakes BBQ for feeding us.
