🎼 Hey, baby, I'm talkin' to you. Stop yourself and listen.
🎤 Apparently they won't be "Alone". I think the City of Asheboro booked a "Magic Man" act too... or something like that.
🎵 There will be food options with everything from pizza to seafood. Sorry, no "Barracuda", y'all.
🎹 Remember, "Never" cut in line at the donut truck or Sergeant Sprinkles will go "Crazy on You".

On 06/12/2026, officers responded to Cool Spring Street for a shooting call. The male victim was found to have three gunshot wounds. After an investigation by the APD Criminal Investigations Division, Detective Williamson obtained warrants for arrest on Keenan Markeese Bell, 28, of Asheboro.

Earlier today, the APD Street Crimes Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Bell on the charges of Attempted First Degree Murder, AWDWIKISI, Discharge a Weapon into Occupied Property, Discharge a Firearm in the City, Injury to Real Property, and Injury to Personal Property.

🚨 Suspect arrested for Attempted Murder after a Shooting on Brewer Street

On 06/16/2026, officers were dispatched to a discharging fi****ms call on Brewer St near Watkins St and discovered that a male had been shot. After an investigation by the APD Criminal Investigations Division, Detective Mitchell obtained warrants for arrest on Deonte Tyrese Nicholson, 26, of Asheboro.

APD Street Crimes Unit arrested Nicholson on the warrants, charging him with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, AWDWWIKISI, Going Armed to the Terror of the Public, Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

🚨 Male with a History of Exposing Himself in Public Arrested Again for Indecent Exposure; Subject Shot on Brewer St; Guns & Drugs Seized on Traffic Stop 👀

Officer Spencer arrested Shawn Schuyler for indecent exposure after he exposed his genitalia to citizens at a local business. Schuyler received no bond due to being out on bond for previous charges.

Officers responded to Brewer St in reference to a discharge firearm call and discovered that a male subject had been shot. APD Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

Officer Bautista arrested a male for DWI (.21 BAC), aggressive driving, and related charges.

Officer Reeves arrested a male for DWI (.22 BAC), reckless driving, and related charges.

Officer Wall investigated a vehicle collision on Salisbury St and arrested the driver for DWI (.08 BAC).

Officer Bautista arrested a female for DWI (blood) and driving offenses.

Officer Sesmas conducted a traffic stop and deployed K9 Apollo who indicated to narcotics coming from the vehicle. Officer Sesmas seized M**h and drug paraphernalia.

Officer Reeves arrested a male during a traffic stop for possession of M**h and other narcotics.

Officers Otero and Bym conducted a traffic stop/narcotics investigation and seized three fi****ms, drugs, gloves, and masks from the vehicle. Officer Otero arrested the occupant.

Officer Medley responded to an alarm at a business near Vision Dr and Fayetteville St. Officers seized two juveniles who had broken into the store. Officer Medley is seeking charges.

Officer Senneke charged a juvenile with driving after consuming alcohol, exceeding posted speed, left of center, & red light violation.

This is a glimpse into our officers' good work over the last few shifts.
