Agriculture contributes $117 billion annually to our state’s economy, accounting for 14% of North Carolina’s total economic output. Even better? Randolph County ranks among the Top 10 rural counties in the state for total agricultural sales.

That’s something worth being proud of. Agriculture isn’t just part of our heritage. It continues to feed our families, support our communities, and drive our economy forward.

🐐🎉 Randolph County 4-H Livestock Show: GOAT SPOTLIGHT! 🎉🐐

Tonight we’re wrapping up our species highlights with the goats!

After cattle on Friday night and our inaugural sheep show Saturday morning, the goats finished out an action-packed livestock show weekend. Our exhibitors worked hard, stayed focused, and represented 4-H with pride!

Happy September! It has been an active summer for Randolph ECA ( Extension & Community Association). Club members volunteered in many ways such as assisting with 4-H Classes in Sewing and Etiquette, volunteering at the Randolph County Food Hub, planning for a Senior Prom, thinking of new ideas for the 2nd Annual Common Ground Festival, completing initial planning for the 2027 North Central District Conference, learning more about the Randolph Community College Foundation Scholarship program, and having a wonderful TREK to a Jazz Concert in Southern Pines.
