There are nine new bestsellers, ten new movies, seven new audiobooks, 22 new children's books, and 47 other new books, including 22 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Big Little Truths," "Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones," and "The Sound of Regret." The new movies this week include "The Mandalorian and Grogu," "Disclosure Day," and "The Sheep Detectives [Blu-ray]."

🌷Dolly Parton was a champion of supporting early literacy and building a lifelong love for reading. The entire Asheboro Library is devastated to hear news of her passing, but we wanted to celebrate the contributions she has made even here in our own community.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has provided over 300 million books to children around the world, even right here in our hometown. Many children were given free books that they would not have had access to without Dolly’s lasting generosity.

In memory of her legacy and contributions to reading as a whole, we have created a small display of materials to honor her. We also have information available for anyone who wishes to sign their child (ages 0-5) up for the Imagination Library. Go directly to imaginationlibrary.com to find out more.

The new bestsellers this week include "The Odyssey," "What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking: Make It Fast," and "The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy."
