This tornado watch includes Pottawatomie county. Please everyone be weather aware.

A TORNADO Watch is in effect until 10:00 PM.

An outbreak of tornadoes, including the risk of intense and long-track tornadoes, is expected to develop this afternoon across the watch area. Very large hail and damaging wind gusts are also expected with the numerous supercell storms.

Noon Tornado Update: Risk will be highest this afternoon for OKC and east and south. Storms will move in during the 3-6pm timeframe and produce a chance of tornadoes. Areas in the HIGH(8) will have the chance to produce strong tornadoes. Today will be an active day. a TORNADO WATCH will be issued soon. Tune to KOCO5 News for updates.
