Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or church group and join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM for Let Your Light Shine, a fun and meaningful community race benefiting the Western Carolina Rescue Ministries!

Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps bring hope to neighbors in our community who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. Every step you take helps provide meals, shelter, recovery programs, and life-changing support for men, women, and children in need.

What an incredible day of serving our community! ❤️

A huge thank you to the volunteers from Church and , along with our dedicated staff and disciples, for helping make today’s Jeans Giveaway and Father’s Day Cookout such a success.

Together, we distributed more than 100 pairs of jeans to our neighbors in need. Jeans are one of the most requested clothing items because of their durability and versatility, and we were grateful to be able to provide them to so many people.

The day was made even more special with a delicious cookout featuring burgers and hot dogs as we celebrated Father’s Day with our residents, guests, and community members.

Thank you for helping us share hope in our community! 🌟

We are giving out FREE jeans to our neighbors in need today We have a variety of sizes available for both men and women.

For those experiencing homelessness, a good pair of jeans is more than just clothing. Jeans are durable, provide protection from the elements, and can withstand daily wear when someone may have limited access to laundry or replacement clothing. They offer comfort, dignity, and practical support for individuals navigating difficult circumstances.

If you are in need of a pair of jeans, stop by and see us today before 12:30 PM or come to the clothing closet Tuesdays and Fridays from 9-10:30am. We are grateful to our community partners and donors who made this giveaway possible!

For many experiencing homelessness, a good pair of jeans is more than just clothing, it's a durable, practical necessity that can withstand daily wear and provide comfort and dignity. Thanks to the generosity of Biltmore Church and our amazing community, we have new and gently used jeans available to bless those in need.

We will also be serving a special Father's Day Cookout dinner at 4:30pm, as we celebrate and honor the fathers and father figures in our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this day possible. Your generosity is making a difference, one pair of jeans and one meal at a time. 💙

As temperatures rise, so do the challenges faced by our neighbors experiencing homelessness. This summer, we’re launching Summer Hope in the Heat, providing cold water, water bottle refills, and essential care items to help people stay safe and hydrated during the hottest months of the year.

You can help by donating items such as:

🧦 Socks
🧴 Sunscreen
🧻 Hygiene items
🍎 Non-perishable snacks...and other summer care essentials.

We were excited to welcome the youth group from back to the Rescue Mission today! For many years, they have faithfully spent part of their summer serving alongside us, and we are grateful to have them here again this week.

Their first day began with chapel, followed by serving lunch and helping with a variety of projects around the Mission. Their willingness to serve is already making a difference in the lives of our residents and guests.

Thank you, Westover Church, for your continued partnership and servant hearts. We look forward to a great week together! 💙
