It's been a while since we've posted, and just restocked with some books that haven't been seen in the library yet! Come on by, tell your friends and neighbors! There's plenty to choose from including kids books, memoirs, sci fi, thrillers, even a couple of classics! 📖📚

We just got some awesome donations of children’s and young adult books! I’m particularly excited someone donated books by 2 of my favorite authors: John Green and Laurie Halse Anderson. Our donor said ”The Somethingosaur” is a great book that she and her son loved readung together. so come on down and grab a book or two to read and enjoy.

We had such a great time celebrating the 1 Year Anniversary of the Wilburn Road Little Free Library with y’all yesterday! Thanks to everyone for coming out! I even found a book by one of my favorite authors that I haven’t read yet. - Emily

"From now through the end of May, people anywhere in the U.S. can get digital access to some of the NYPL’s online collections that are typically only available to cardholders. Here’s what to know.

In response to the recent nationwide increase in attempts to ban books, the NYPL has launched their “Books For All” campaign—part of which is granting readers anywhere in the United States (13 or older) free, immediate, digital access to some of their collections. And unlike some online libraries, you don’t have to wait until the digital copy becomes available: All of the titles in the collection are ready to read right away

The digital access is via the NYPL’s free e-reader app, SimplyE, which is available to download on iOS and Android devices. Once you download and open the app, here’s what to do:

Select “Add a Library Later” to browse the “Books for All Collection”
Enter your birth year to verify you are 13 or older
Choose your books and start reading"

Access some of the NYPL's extensive digital collections from anywhere in the country.
