In October of 1900, Cornelia Vanderbilt was christened at All Souls Church in Biltmore Village ⛪

A small family party was present for the celebration and included Edith’s sister Natalie Brown, who was also Cornelia’s godmother. Days later, a "Birthday Tree" was planted in what is now the Azalea Garden at the estate.
